Bullet Anne, after patrolling the town, padded into the woods to enjoy a walk in the night.

She was still wearing her two collars, the one given to her by Nightshade, a fine red silk collar, and the one that was a token of remembrance to her friend Wilson.

The red collar was beginning to loosen however, and the black hunting dog was forced to stop to attempt to tighten it, and failing to do so.

"Grr..." she growled in annoyance, then her ears pricked as she heard a twig snap. "Who's there?"

Toro growled slightly making sure she was by his side,"follow me" he said as he took a sharp turn, as well running into the trees dodging them as he continued to run he kept close to her as he slammed into the side of a tree as snow fell on the mutts but two were still chasing falling behind slowly. But her giggles were short lived as the other two began to close in, trying to seperated Anne from Toro, and still seeming obvious to Anne's tame heritage.

Anne screamed as she felt teeth snap at her heels as she was herded farther and farther away from Toro. "Ah!"

Next thing she knew, she was being barreled into and thrown to the ground. Anne looked up into her attacker's face, and saw the same crazed, blind look that she herself often wore when she was closing in on a kill.

"Help!" She howled, and felt teeth sink into her hind leg, then her side, then her shoulder, and finally her neck, holding her in such a way that she couldn't breathe as the hunting dogs tore into her.

Toro, bared his teeth as he came following the scent of blood he soon realised it was bullet Anne's he came as he bashed into the one and gripped the ones tuff. He pulled the mutt off of her as he growled pinning hin as the other gripped his back with his teeth."Go!" He said this as he cursed he ripped into one of the dogs throats. The one still clawing at his back he couldnt get off soon he was bound to get pinned.

"Hey!" She snapped to the dog holding Toro. Had she been in her right mind, she would've let the wolf be torn apart, but at the moment her mind was in a us against them mode, and Toro was on her side.

The ebony dog grabbed another of her fellow hunting hounds and tossed them aside.

"Run!" She barked to Toro.

Toro looked at her as he gasped,"I can't though" he noticed the human looking at Anne, he noticed the dog tags as it moved tolds Toro. He limped as he ran out of breathe as he did so. He panted heavily as the smoke of his hot breathe raised in the air. He soon collapsed by a great big tree which supported his Weight. He didn't want to leave her but it looklooked as if the human knew her. He was bleeding out and panted heavily as he looked at the number of wounds. "Dammit-" he started to trail off as he walked limping slightly he couldn't rest.

The hunter called off his dogs, and when the bloodlust fades from their eyes they gasped, recognizing their fellow hunting dog.

"Annie!" One gaped, and nosed her shoulder. "We didn't recognize you!"

Bullet Anne growled, wincing from pain. "You dense idiots!" She snapped.

The human hunter approached and scooped up their friend's dog, and Anne squirmed in his arms. "Wolfie!" She howled, relaxing she never got Toro's name. "Wolfie, where are you? Are you okay?" She jumped out of the Hunter's arms and rapidly limped into the brush. "Don't follow me!" She warned the other dogs, and began to track Toro's scent.

"Wolfie?" She asked as she closed in on him.

Once back at the cabin, Cato's friend was already there, and the two made plans that Anne would go to the vet the next day and Cato's friend would pick up the tab for what his dogs did.

Bullet Anne entered the vet's place and looked around. There was still the same sterile, clean scent, along with R'emy's and his mistress's.

She groaned. She really didn't want to talk to R'emy again.

But her frown faded when Emily gave her a pat on the head. "How can a woman so sweet have a dog so sour?" She wondered in her head.

"Annie was out last night and my friend mistook her for a wolf, ain't that hard to in the dark," Cato explained. "He put his dogs on her accidently."

T'emy stared for a moment before going into his room he had no reason at all to talk to a torn up mutt. Emily happy voice turned soon annoyed,"what?" But from her mom, she's a doberman/German Shepherd/dutch shepherd/bloodhound/tree climbing coon hound/Irish wolfhound/ great Dane mix. But her dad had to be some sort of water dog, Annie show her your paws." Cato ordered.

Bullet Anne backed up and held up one forepaw, spreading her toes to show the webbing in between them that only water dogs had.

He wondered what to do again. R'emy sat as he grumbled with Emily around he had to behave abd listen he wasnt even aloud out anymore. Which really bugged the male, emily came over to him patting him on the head as she got back to writing things down.
